The Stay Alive app is a suicide prevention resource for the UK, packed full of useful information and tools to help people stay safe in crisis. It can use by people who are experiencing thoughts of suicide or if a person is concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide.
Samaritans provide over the phone (on 116 123) 24/7 and email support - takes 24 hours for a response on Jo@samaritans. They are providing additional resources, including a short video to help people in crisis and are in the process of updating the resources available.
Anxiety UK provides support and relief to people living with anxiety and anxiety-based depression by providing information, support and understanding. They have a number of resources and webinars available in relation to managing during the coronavirus.
Students against depression
Provides advice and resources for students feeling anxious and/or depressed including self-help resources especially during the Coronavirus.
Provides advice, information, and support services for those affected by OCD. Currently, they are providing specific information for OCD sufferers to help them cope during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Provides support and advice for people who have an eating disorder or are supporting someone who does, with specific resources linked to Coronavirus outbreak. Beat have set up an online group (Sanctuary) in response to the Coronavirus. This is a safe space for people with an eating disorder to share concerns and advice on how they are coping with the epidemic.
